EUP Transportation Planning

The Regional Planning Commission's Transportation Program serves local units of government and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) by participating in many different transportation activities. These activities provide a range of information for use in transportation decision-making.

The Regional Planning Commission:


* coordinates public involvement in the transportation program
* provides technical assistance for both MDOT and local governments
* takes part in the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) by performing traffic counts and collecting roadway information
* participates in the Asset Management Program
