As the CEO of EUPRPDC, Jeff supervises all of the projects and programs carried out by staff, development of the annual work plan, budget preparation and serves on various local, regional, and other bodies, provides information, and supervises staff. Mr. Hagan is currently serving on the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation’s Board of Directors, the UP Economic Development Alliance Board, the National Association of Development Organizations Board of Directors, city of Sault Ste. Marie Local Development Finance Authority, the Headwaters North Executive Committee, and the Soo Township Planning Commission. He holds a B.S. in Land Use Planning and Area Management from Lake Superior State University and has been with the Commission since 2000, and its Director/CEO since 2007.
Nathan manages the GIS Department and leads the Commission’s efforts on mapping support for various grants and all projects. He is also the MDOT Asset Management Coordinator and assists on various transportation planning-related projects. Nathan holds a degree in GIS and Natural Resources from Lake Superior State University and has been at the Regional Planning Commission since 2012.
Seth is a lifelong resident of Chippewa County and has served on the City of Sault Ste. Marie’s Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals before coming to the Commission. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Lake Superior State University and has been with the Commission since 2023.
Katrina is new to EUP Planning Commission. She is a 2019 graduate of Florida Atlantic University with a B.S. in Urban and Regional Planning. She is excited to contribute to the Eastern UP as they move forward through various programs and projects.
Matt joined the EUP team as a GIS Tech in January 2024. He graduated from Lake Superior State University in May 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Management and a minor in GIS and Remote Sensing. He provides staff support on all GIS projects and programs, as well as our MDOT Asset Management Program.
Kim started with the Commission in July 2016, after a long and fulfilling career with the Michigan Works! agency in the EUP. She provides administrative support to the planning staff, assists with the daily operations of the Commission’s office in Sault Ste. Marie, and is the Board’s recording Secretary.
