Pentland Township, established in 1887, is located in the southeast corner of Luce County. The Township measures 107 square miles and is located along M-28, the main east-west transportation corridor transecting the Eastern Upper Peninsula. Located in close proximity to the Village of Newberry, Pentland Township is also home to the Newberry Country Club, featuring an 18-hole golf course.
